We went to Lawas today. Dad wanted to see his lands which he bought in the 80s and before I was born. He hadn’t been there since then. The address wasn’t even on Map yet. They went there by memory. A hill, a big tree and somewhere near the stadium… hahaha. That’s how they find it. I became a trusted driver for being known to lost my way. I followed Map, they said I go the longer way. I followed theirs they said they forget. Or anyway will do… Yet, we made it. The view was really nice.
Mum asked what is the name of the new bridge between Muara and Temburong? Dad said it is something called Raya at the back. He said it was on the LED panel. He asked us to read it everytime we passed by. It says something like Berhati-hati di Jalan Raya…. Jalan Raya… Hahahahaha
Dad asked mum not to tell me what to do while driving. He will stop her from telling me what to do. Later on, when he saw green traffic light, he told me to speed up. He saw a car driving real fast in front of us, he asked me to chase after that car and stay about 20-30 ft away. The car was right in front against us while I was turning in, he asked me to turn in fast… hm…
While looking for a restaurant to eat, Dad wanted to go to a restaurant called 88 something. Then Mum wanted to go to another bigger one but another building a block away. Most restaurants were close. In the end, we went to the one with a parking space available which is Dad’s. Mum went to the toilet but we have to order things to eat. Me and Dad ordered things as the owner introduced. Fried noodle with chicken, Seaweed soup, Mixed veges and Ginger Onion Chicken. I think mostly what we will like. I then went into the kitchen then Mum was angry with Dad about something and is actually ordering food without asking her. Dad quickly said I ordered it. Hahahaha. He got away. He was already ordering while I helped him to take his things from the car. If I hadn’t stopped him, he would order a lot of other things. Maybe should stop him for now while he is still recovering.
Anyway, in the end we couldn’t find the lands. The last time they went, it seemed like they found it. Mum explained the same thing like my Eldest Brother. Mum explained how the place is like from our map while we were there. When we were back, Eldest Brother explained the same way. I guess I never got that gene.
Well, there are some very beautiful house. Some houses felt homely but not beautiful. Some were strange. Saw a grass shack. Beach and jetty. Temburong bridge. Hm.
Mum lost her keys again.
