Scam call

I got a scam call from a non +65 number… Saying he changed his phone number. I said who are you. He said why I couldn’t remember him. Nowadays, nobody will feel guilty for not knowing another person name. Some do lah and now I am old liao. Don’t remember is common that is why they use this tactic. Another stories opposing to this one. I got a +65 number at work. I ignored since I am working also. My colleague working at the next counter, also received a phone call. She said +65 不能接哦. So she didn’t pick up the call. Then like 10-20 mins later, our other colleague who went out to dabao food came back and scold why nobody picked up her call. Hahaha. Someone legit and someone who is in the same group. Although at the time I didn’t save her number because I wasn’t sure whose number was that on whatsapp. Since I seldom contact her, I just don’t call or has the need to contact. Someone who is legit has +65. Even my grab delivery or shopee delivery got +65. Some even has business account to s

Forgetful

These few days more and more people forgetting their cards. If you are learning new things, you tend to forget. However, most of the time, the ones who don’t bring were regulars. Then you said you want to pay much much later because you didn’t bring the card… The fault then became mine for letting you pay much later. If you forget again you have to come back and pay. How? How can you forget when the only thing you needed is the cards to pay for your petrol? Then forgetting which pump number… When I am going to board an airplane, if I forget the gate number and seat number, ok meh? I am getting more and more frustrated. If wrong pump, just get everyone into trouble only. You sure hoped that it will be free but it was not. Somebody else will pay for you. Aren’t you afraid of karma? I am a bit fed up on that. You kept on telling wrong pump. The 78 years old aunty paid for you and you don’t fear the retribution meh? Everyday, 3 in 10 forgetting the card. If 5 percent and the points weren’

Saddened

Today a kid just shoplifted from our store. He is tall and I thought he was a teenager and he wasn’t even a teenage yet after I heard the police interrogated him. I was told to make a police report. Thinking back, a young kid, if I gave him a stern warning the first time or the second time he shoplifted, then probably this time he won’t? This was the dunno how many times but to us, with witness, the third time. He just walked out without payment. He was a regular at our store and I saw him quite often which he did pay for his stuff. Only today, I realised the person they said was shoplifting was him. That’s sad. To know that he is below 12, just make the whole thing terrible. I thought he was a teenager… He is only primary 5… Whether I reported him or not, it wasn’t right. Because at his age, he needs to know the consequences for his action. However, I was thinking if it was too harsh for him to be reported to the police. My colleague called to ask our boss and our boss said report to

sigh

so adamant about a less than 10 dollar drive off bill… with mugshot and asked to check out for it. 140 dollars like nothing. Still thinking about it. Is that a dream…. 140 dollars I did almost 2 days for nothing. Without evidence also have to pay? Unsure. With evidence also has to pay? Hm…

Parents

As a cashier, I get to see lots of people. Some good things that I observed. When a son came with his dad to pay the bill, the dad teaches his son what to do with the app vouchers and payments. When a daughter accompanied the dad, the daughter teaches the dad how to use the app vouchers.  What warms me was a woman who always brought his age old father to buy ice-cream. The dad will want to eat it on the spot after payment, then after a bite, the daughter will hold his hand and lead him out of the store. The dad can still walk but very slowly. The ice-cream she bought was on sale though. At 9.90 for 3. Haagen Dazs. Some kids say all kinds of stories to persuade the parents to buy snacks for them. Reasonably saying why they needed the snacks. Haha. Listen to yourself! as if it is reasonable but to the adults, we all know. Still, they were so cute. What you did to get what you want? Some kids were really still in their parents arm. Just look at you getting their payments done with their
