Today was especially busy and full of troubles. The POS was especially slow. It went offline quite a few times. I met some really good customers who understand the situation and told us it was ok. While some were steaming hot. While I was doing the cashiering, one of the station has no car but with transaction on my screen. It wasn’t ok another POS so I panicked and kept on asking. The other cashiers who don’t see the transaction in their POS told me not to be alarm and there is nothing. I think the thing just got stuck and the driver did not drive off. After a while, my transaction cleared but then the transaction wasn’t cleared on other cashiers’ screen. They panicked. Hahahahaha. I addressed the issue but there is another issue with the POS though so nobody focused on that. My panicked and alarms go with them not alarming. After like 2 hrs later, the problem was solved. Now, they started to alarm and said there is a drive off and panicked. Seems like they suddenly lost memory of what was happening just now. I just finished panicking and now their turn. This time it was obvious so I looked back for the transaction and it was paid. Hahahahaha. I don’t know why I found this funny.
I finished doing my wallet without cutting myself. I got a poke from the needle though but it was alright. Only that one time. The rest I found a way to prevent that. The cutting mat has been very useful and now it’s filled with holes. Today I got my first cut of the year. Fengshui’s problem. I was taking something from the dark corner near the kitchen sink at work. Was opening the carton for umbrella. Someone asked me to take. When I was cashier, I normally took it myself instead of calling someone unless really necessary. I have cut away the tape but the tape side sick to the wall so I pulled it and I couldn’t remember but just felt sharp pain on my left palm. My left hand gave way after the cover flipped open and the knife on the right hand slashed my palm. Sigh, I should have close it before pulling the cover. It failed to open the first time so I slide it out to cut a second time but worry it didn’t open and kept it that way. Should have trust my instinct. I also think ...
