Today was especially busy and full of troubles. The POS was especially slow. It went offline quite a few times. I met some really good customers who understand the situation and told us it was ok. While some were steaming hot. While I was doing the cashiering, one of the station has no car but with transaction on my screen. It wasn’t ok another POS so I panicked and kept on asking. The other cashiers who don’t see the transaction in their POS told me not to be alarm and there is nothing. I think the thing just got stuck and the driver did not drive off. After a while, my transaction cleared but then the transaction wasn’t cleared on other cashiers’ screen. They panicked. Hahahahaha. I addressed the issue but there is another issue with the POS though so nobody focused on that. My panicked and alarms go with them not alarming. After like 2 hrs later, the problem was solved. We all have our POS restarted and updated. The ghosted transaction on my screen was still there and this time on their POS except mine have the alarm triggered for unpaid transaction overtime. Now, they started to alarm and said there is a drive off and panicked. Seems like they suddenly lost memory of what was happening just now. I just finished panicking and now their turn. This time it was obvious so I looked back for the transaction and it was paid. Hahahahaha. I don’t know why I found this funny.
The amount I spent on learning before applying actually costed me more money until I do enough work. Still learning process is still needed even while working. Doing things subconsciously can make the easiest problem complicated. Could be your old habits or subconscious typing or the auto correction? hm.. This one is more like my habit. It is a hard to catch error when we did like that. I was thinking what goes wrong and no matter what I did, it would not return my desired results. Turned the code that I wrote previously and just a line only which I overlooked while checking, was blocking the rest of the changes… Dangerous code is the counter code that you wrote to right a wrong or blocking the wrong from working. That’s normally a temporary solution but the solution turned out to be preventing me doing other works… sigh… 😮💨 Today’s a lucky day and I found it while doing another part… so it is good not to always focus on one problem. The other problem could be the c...
