As a cashier, I get to see lots of people. Some good things that I observed. When a son came with his dad to pay the bill, the dad teaches his son what to do with the app vouchers and payments. When a daughter accompanied the dad, the daughter teaches the dad how to use the app vouchers.
What warms me was a woman who always brought his age old father to buy ice-cream. The dad will want to eat it on the spot after payment, then after a bite, the daughter will hold his hand and lead him out of the store. The dad can still walk but very slowly. The ice-cream she bought was on sale though. At 9.90 for 3. Haagen Dazs.
Some kids say all kinds of stories to persuade the parents to buy snacks for them. Reasonably saying why they needed the snacks. Haha. Listen to yourself! as if it is reasonable but to the adults, we all know. Still, they were so cute. What you did to get what you want?
Some kids were really still in their parents arm. Just look at you getting their payments done with their big innocent eyes. Why are babies so cute?
Some real cool customer really cool. When asked if they wanted to buy a donation package, they just say ok. Then paid for it without hesitating. Some hesitate but believed in doing good. Some don’t. Some hesitate forever like me. To buy or not to buy. Wait till one day I rich bah. Some wants to but don’t have enough money or points. I guess they wanted to do good too. Most good people were not rich too. Probably gave too much. You have 100, you gave 90… She spent less than the packages compared to the donation. Not for me to judge and whatever reason to give or not, it is up to them since it is their money. Not their fault if they cannot donate. They might have kids to raise and old parents to take care. They can take care of themselves already better than most.
