I wanted to cook instant ramen. At the same time, I wanted to watch Wakanda Forever, so I watched it while I was waiting for the water to boil before putting in the noodle. I walked back in to check if the water is boiling and it wasn’t. I walked back out to continue watching TV.
After like 5 minutes, I walked back in. The water still not boiling. Guess what? I forgot to turn the fire on. I put the water, turned on the fume hood and walked away… Sadded.
While working as a cashier, I think it was pretty overwhelming. There were whole bunch of things that I didn’t know. Like types of credit cards or in general, types of cards available in this world that were beyond my touch. I don’t drive in Sg. I have seen credit cards made of metal. Wahhhhh… Would that be better to recycle? Guess so.
Not only that. You have all sorts of customers… I am dying. Some totally don’t care and as long as payment go through, then I bought my things, then totally ok. Then I did a lot of wrong stuff with nets payment. When are they going to end this nets technology though. Will save the cashiers a lot. I needed to repeat certain questions to every customer. Maybe I should record down all the questions I should ask and just press a button when the customer approach to pay. Not a bad idea for Kiosk. For POS okleh. Imagine I have 100 customers per day. By the end of the day, I have asked 1000 times. Then by the end of the month, I could have asked 20k times. Sigh…
Then the delicacies. Argh… Maybe when I made them I will recognised more. Donuts…
